A downloadable mod

Hardcore Chaos is a Procedurally Generated Zdoom Doom 2 mod that allows you to create Zdoom maps of any theme, difficulty or size in the game using ACS Scripting... It is similar in some ways to oblige, but unlike oblige, it generates the maps by taking a grid of basic shapes and closing certain, randomly chosen shapes like Doors to form walls, and then alters ceilings and floors to make different floor/ceiling heights randomly, puts in features needed in Doom Maps, Like Doors, Switches, Ceiling Lights, Support Pillars, Locked Doors, Items, Weapons and Monsters.

The mod is completely configurable in terms of how big the rooms should be, how hard the fights are, and how to make the map look. You can make tiny rooms, average sized rooms, huge rooms, you name it. You can make a map of any theme you want, tech, urban and hell. You can make a map with super easy gameplay like easy doom 2 levels, medium gameplay like Plutonia, Hard Gameplay like Hell Revealed, Ultra hard gameplay like Sunlust, Or Even Slaughter Gameplay. Even Impossible gameplay is a difficulty preset.

In the first room there are 4 switches. The back one sets theme for the next map you play. The right most one of the right switches sets the size of the rooms. The left one on the right selects mapset difficulty/rampup. The left switch builds the map (s), gives you a randomly generated mission objective and gives you starting gear. Once you beat the map you go back to the same map and press the left switch again to play it. Keep doing this infinite amount of times to play infinite levels.

Due to the chance levels will have architecture you cannot pass through and get stuck in, there is a recall spell feature to warp you back to the beginning of the map where the exit switch is. Bind it to a key in options...

New in the new version 7.0.0 are a system of multiple levels, that have increasing difficulty over them. The old difficulty settings have been revamped into ramp up settings to control how fast the maps get harder..

"Normal" is difficulty increases ever 2 maps, later ones increase way quicker...

The maps have Zdoom Features all over them not limited to: -Colored Lighting -Slopes -ACS Scripting The maps are Coop compatible and support up to 8 players. Since the beta version of this mod, called Blockmap, this thing has been updated with the following new features: -more varied colored lighting -scripting in maps -mission objectives -having to kill enemies to unlock doors As before with Blockmap, it's not a  good idea to not play this mod with randomizer mods. Enemies can get stuck and it happens a lot if you play any difficulty config higher than hard with small or tiny level size... Installation instructions: Unzip the .exe to a new folder, not your blockmap one, and run hc.bat to play in the folder...
